Abstract:

To enable all vehicles in a group of vehicles, which travel toward the same destination point, to reach a destination point.

A route information providing device 110 is configured to provide route information to a plurality of vehicles 120 ("vehicle group 130" called hereinafter) traveling to the same destination point. A detection unit 111 detects positions of the vehicles 120 in the vehicle group 130, respectively. A sensing unit 112 senses a state of the vehicles 120 continuing to stop for a prescribed period or more. A searching unit 113 searches routes for respectively guiding the vehicles 120 in the vehicle group 130 to prescribed points when such a state is sensed that at least one vehicle 120 in the vehicle group 130 continues to stop for the prescribed period or more. A transmitting unit 114 transmits information of the searched routes to the vehicles 120 in the vehicle group 130, respectively.
