Abstract:
To accurately recognize a business form structured of a plurality of pages without requiring complicated operation such as insertion of a partitioning business form.
Degree of similarity between a search business form and a registered business form is computed for every page corresponding to each other. When comparing a search image on the first page with the registered business form, since the registered business forms are not narrowed down, all the registered business forms are compared. When the computed degree of similarity is smaller than a threshold value, the registered business form is eliminated from objects of recognition to narrow down the objects of recognition.
