Abstract:

To improve security of a device including a touch screen.

A device (a smartphone, for example) includes a touch screen and a controller for cancelling a lock state of the device on the basis of the number of touches detected by the touch screen when the device is locked. The device may further include a display superimposed on the touch screen. In this case, the controller may display a lock screen on the display when the device is locked, and cancel the lock state of the device when the lock screen is touched at plural positions.
