Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an excessive amount of current flowing to a motors when starting and to stabilize the start by providing a resistor on a circuit board and connecting the resistor in series to the coil of a DC brushless motor on initial drive. SOLUTION: A control part 1 controls, for example, the ON/OFF, the number of rotations, and the start current control part 9 of a DC brushless motor. When initially driving the DC brushless motor, the microprocessor 1 outputs a relay on signal to the start current control part 9. The start current control part 9 makes connection to a start resistor R4 in series using a relay and absorbs an excessive induction lead-in current on starting by the resistor R4. Then, a Hall sensor detection part 8 detects the number of rotations and the microprocessor 1 outputs a relay off signal to turn off the resistor R4 when a specific number of rotations is exceeded.
