Abstract:
To provide an improved device and method for multispectral raster scan optoacoustic imaging.SOLUTION: A device for raster scan optoacoustic imaging comprises: a radiation source 10 which comprises a Raman laser light source and is configured to generate a plurality of pulses of electromagnetic emission each of which includes spectroscopy of electromagnetic emission at two or more individual wavelengths, and further comprises an acoustooptic variable filter configured to select spectroscopy with one wavelength from the pulses; an irradiation unit 20 which is configured to irradiate a region of interest of an object 1 through the selected spectroscopy of the pulses; a detection unit 31 which is configured to detect a sound wave emitted from the region of interest in response to irradiating the region of interest through the selected spectroscopy of the pulses; and a scan unit 40 which is configured to arrange the irradiation unit and detection unit, and the region of interest at a plurality of different positions along (x, y) by moving them mutually along (x, y), and control the detection unit in a plurality of places.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
