Abstract:

To provide a device and a method for refining an organic compound, allowing obtaining granulated crystal with high efficiency.

A circulation flow path 20 for guiding a liquid material containing the organic compound introduced thereinto outside a crystallizing vessel 10 for depositing crystals of the organic compound from the liquid material and returning the liquid material to the crystallizing vessel 10 is connected to the crystallizing vessel 10. The circulation flow path 20 is provided with a pump 30 for crushing and granulating the crystals in the liquid material while the liquid material is circulated through the circulation flow path 20.
