A device 1 for removing filter medium adhesive matter includes: a cylindrical casing 2; a dehydrating pipe 3 arranged inside the cylindrical casing 2 and formed with water passage holes on a sidewall; and an agitation shaft 4 inserted in the dehydrating pipe 3 and rotationally driven; and is structured such that a filter medium supplied between the dehydrating pipe 3 and the agitation shaft 4 is agitated to remove adhesive matter on a surface of the filter medium, the agitation shaft 4 includes a spiral projection 42 at least on a part of an outer peripheral surface, and the spiral projection 42 rubs the filter medium against peripheries of inner openings of the plurality of water passage holes when the agitation shaft 4 is rotationally driven.
