Abstract:
To provide a device and method capable of separating an extruded section of a very small length.
A shorter section 10 is advantageously separated from an extruded panel 7 continuously manufactured by a twin belt conveyer 2 by a sawing device 1 provided with an adjustable program controller 11 determining an optimal cutting start position related to a reference point and positioned right in front of an edge of the extruded panel. A saw blade 9 is positioned in the optimal cutting start position at an appropriate time before each cutting.
