Abstract:
To provide a device for separation-counting thin materials, such as paper currencies, papers, metal sheets and films, without causing jamming or damages even if they are complicated in shapes or have blanked forms in inner faces.SOLUTION: A device for separation-counting for separating and advancing each thin material 20 one by one from thin materials 20 laid one over another. The device for separation-counting comprises a storage device 21 that stores thin materials 20 laid one over another, a rotary separation drum 13 that separates each thin material 20 one by one from thin materials 20 laid one over another in the storage device 21, and a counting device 14 for counting the number of sheets of the thin materials separated by the separation drum 13. The storage device 21 moves tangentially of the separation drum 13 at a velocity synchronous with the peripheral velocity of the rotary separation drum 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
