Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for superposing sheets capable of eliminating waste of superposing time and sheets that may occur in a superposing process if continued until its completion even when a trouble occurs in a superposition state during the sheet superposing process.SOLUTION: A device for superposing sheets determines a sheet superposing state by determining if a measured height associated with a sheet pressing member is within a range of predetermined value even during the sheet superposing process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
