To provide a supporting arrangement having an object supported on a fluid film rotatable, without aiming to limit to a spherical shape and also a device and method for supporting the object.

In a device which supports or mounts a disk 1 to be movable, the disk 1 is movably supported on the fluid film 7 in a holding device 2. A fluid supply part 3 is provided in the holding device 2 so that a return force acting on the object 1 due to the configuration of the supported disk 1 and a recess 5 arranged in the holding device 2 in conjunction with the fluid film 7 is generated when the object 1 is deflected from its resting position. The method for supporting the object 1 is also disclosed.
