Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for supporting subassembly parts of a vacuum circuit breaker during assembly.
SOLUTION: A peripheral groove 34 machined on an electrode 32 of the subassembly and a helical retaining ring 36 having a first portion 38 inserted in this groove 34 are used. A second portion 40 of the helical retaining ring 36 gives stable structural support to parts stacked on the retaining ring 36. These parts are clamped together and each joint between vacuum circuit breaker parts is brazed.
