Abstract:
To make it possible for an unskilled person to tap a melt from a tapping hole without danger.
A resistance heat generating body 12 which melts the portion of a solidified metal 7 that is solidified in a tapping hole 5 to work as a plug near a molten-metal chamber 3 at tapping time is provided on the outer peripheral side of a refractory material 5a forming the tapping hole 5. In addition, as induction heating coil 13 which melts the remaining portion of the solidified metal 7 from the heat generating body 12 to the external wall by heating is provided between the heat generating body 12 and external wall so as to melt the solidified metal 7 by both resistance heating and induction heating.
