To provide an oxidated scale elimination device which is easily applicable during routine inspection and repair time in an existing drum and is capable of eliminating vapor oxidated scales in a short period and in a favorably finished state and a method thereof.
When eliminating vapor oxidated sales 10 which are separated out and deposited on an inner wall surface of a steam pipe or the like by the distribution of hot temperature steam, water or a solution whose main component is water, is filled up in the steam pipe while high speed water jet is blasted against the vapor oxidative scales, thereby damaging the vapor oxidated scales 10 and blasting high speed water jets against the damaged areas so that the jets may be blastingly collided with the damaged area.
