Abstract:
To reduce the load of maintenance work such as cleaning and to suppress the generation of a defective product caused by the fluctuation of a feed amount of granules during drying.SOLUTION: A granulating/drying device dries granulated granules with drying air in a process of making the granules flow through a channel. The granulating/drying device comprises a granulator, an air feeder, a dryer, a recovery unit, an air suction unit, a pressure detector, and a controller. The pressure detector detects a pressure in a feed passage included in the channel. The feed passage is a segment allowing the granules from the granulator to join the drying air from the air feeder. The controller controls the flow rate of the drying air flowing in the channel so that the detected value detected by the pressure detector becomes equal to the value of a pressure in the granulator less a specified value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
