PURPOSE: To enable simultaneous confirmation of an actual object of a material to be rolled in transferring and the information related to tensile stress of the material to be rolled without widely moving the line of sight of an operator.
CONSTITUTION: A device S for monitoring a rolling line is arranged in a position where the material 1 to be rolled in transferring can be visually monitored. Informations corresponding to the related values (tension, tensile stress or the like) of tensile stress of the material 1 to be rolled are displayed on the optical information displaying means D of an information projecting device K. The information displaying light L emitted from the optical information displaying means D is projected in a specified direction (the direction of a combiner C) with an optical member A. The operator P can simultaneously confirm the present state of the actual object of the material 1 to be rolled and the displayed information corresponding to the related values of tensile stress of the material 1 to be rolled.
