Abstract:

To simplify a device for mounting a vertically-long seal or an O-ring in a receiving portion or a support groove of a nozzle bar so that the mounting can be performed in a short time by only one worker.

In this device for mounting the longitudinally-long seal or the O-ring 12 in the nozzle bars 1.1 or the support groove 12" of a housing of the nozzle bar 1.1 of a device producing liquid jets for jet entangling of fabric, by an assembling device provided with at least one fixing device 27 receiving the seal (O-ring 12) and positioning the seal under preload, a releasing device 32 is disposed besides the fixing device 27 for the seal, and the seal (O-ring 12) can be incorporated in the nozzle bar 1.1 or the support groove 12" formed in the housing of the nozzle bar 1.1 by the releasing device.
