Abstract:
To provide a device for observing the meteorological phenomenon which dispenses with connection of an electric cable to a sensor and thus can improve the reliability and moreover, which can make the cost of installation low and moreover can increase flexibility o installation.
A plurality of IC tags 41, 42, 43, ..., are disposed in the vertical direction. It is detected that radio communication between at least one of the IC tags 41, 42, 43, ..., submerged by a rise of a water level and an IC tag reader 5 has changed, from a state wherein the communication is possible to a state wherein the communication is impossible, and thereby the water level of a river, or the like, is observed.
