PURPOSE: To make it possible to adjust an optical guide to an arbitrary length by arranging the optical guide in first and second hard optical guide outside cylinders and coupling these outside cylinders respectively by releasable clamping devices.
CONSTITUTION: The optical guide 1 and the optical guide outside cylinder 5 are fixed to the connecting piece 3 to a laser unit. The relatively small optical guide outside cylinder 4 having an external shape da<di is inserted at a transfer point 6 into the relatively large optical guide outside cylinder 5 having a bore d1. A synthetic resin sleeve 7e and both metallic sleeves 7c, 7d enclosing clamping sleeves 7a, 7b may be clamped at the time of screwing these sleeves to each other. Another releasable clamp coupling part of the device 2 moving the optical guide in a longitudinal direction consists of parts 8a,..., 8c, are composed like the clamp coupling parts 7a,..., 7e and are coupled to the optical guide outside cylinder 4. As a result, the optical guide 2 emerging from the connecting piece is adjustable to an arbitrary length.
