To provide a device for positioning the rear end of a sheet which can reduce a stabilization time of the sheet even when the moving velocity of the sheet is high and the weight per unit area of the sheet is large when the sheet hits against a stopper of a knife type folding unit, and can execute folding without trouble by the knife type folding unit at the same time.
This invention relates to this device for positioning, in particular, a sheet moving in a combination type folding machine. The device is composed of at least one upper carrier belt, and at least one lower carrier belt. The sheet is carried toward the stopper between both the carrier belts. The upper belt and the lower belts contact each other only in an entrance region and an exit region of the knife type folding unit.
