PURPOSE: To only adjust the position of a device positioning device even when a device having a different size is handled, so as to dispense with changing of the position of a sensor by constituting a stopper and a sensor so as to hold them by an integral holder.

CONSTITUTION: In a front surface mounted-type electric device handier, a device positioning device 1a is so constituted that a stopper 2 capable of being driven so as to be freely projected and retreated on a conveying device 4 and a sensor 6 for detecting the presence of devices to be tested 5a to 5e positioned by the stopper 2 on the conveying device 4 may be integrally held by a holder 3a. The fixing position of the holder 3a can be shifted to a frame 7 through an elongate hole 10 according to the length of the conveying direction of the devices to be tested 5a to 5e, and the distance between a device holding means 8 and the device positioning device 1a is so set that the device holding means 8 may hold the next device 5b when the device positioning device 1a stops the front device 5a.
