PURPOSE: To prevent dripping of molten metal on the connecting part of molds by constituting a molten metal pouring wheel and mold line so as to shift as linking in a molten magnesium pouring device with a pouring trough crossing at right angles to the chain-connected mold line.
CONSTITUTION: The pouring device C in a magnesium casting machine M is constituted of a control pinion supported so as to follow by engaging a control pinion with an empty mold at front of shifting the molten metal pouring mold 1 and a divided plate 5 in the pouring wheel 3 positioned in between the dis charging end part of the pouring trough 4 and just above the mold and rotated so as to always cover the connecting part 1a of molds and dividedly pour the molten metal. By this method, the dropping of molten metal on the connecting part 1a of molds can be surely prevented by the simple constitution utilizing the shifting action of mold 1, and deburring work and edge part cutting work in a product can be eliminated and product cost can be reduced.
