A pump for sucking/delivering the molten metal with a piston 2 in a cylinder 1, a molten metal pouring pipe line 5 for pouring the molten metal D in the cylinder into a mold and a spool type valve element 8 slidably shifted in the vertical direction to the molten metal pouring position communicating the cylinder and the molten metal pouring pipe line and to the sucking position disconnecting them, are arranged, and the molten metal pouring pipe line is constituted of an upstream side pipe line 41 parallel with the valve element shifting direction and a down stream side pipe line 42 in the direction crossing the above pipe line. The upstream side pipe line and a valve seat 46 are arranged in series and the valve element and a valve stem 45 are connected in series and the valve stem is passed in the upstream side pipe line and the operating side end part of the stem is projected through a through-hole 48 of a pipe line forming member 43, and an annular contact surface 63 is arranged to preventing the leakage of the molten metal through a sliding part 62 between the valve stem and the through-hole by touching a seat 6 on the inner peripheral surface at the upper side than the connecting position between the upstream side pipe line and the downstream side pipe line of the pipe line forming member when the valve stem is shifted to the molten metal pouring position in the valve element.
