Abstract:
To provide a device for predicting character string characteristics, which predicts the other value from the word number or the vocabulary number in input character string information.
A text including continuation of character codes is analyzed, either the word number N or the vocabulary number L is counted from a series of character strings, and the other count value is estimated from one count value by the following equation 9 or 10. The equation 9 is L=10{(1-G)logN+G} and the equation 10 is N=10(logL-G)/(1-G).
