PURPOSE: To easily treat a slag in low cost by preventing the diffusion of the slag at the time of flowing molten metal into a casting mold.
CONSTITUTION: This device consists of a casting trough 10 and the casting mold 9 for forming an ingot by pouring the molten metal 31 from the casting trough 10. A tip opening part 24 in the casting trough 10 is opened in the vicinity on a bottom surface 25 at the center of the casting mold 9, and an inside parting plate 26 and an outside parting plate 27 for preventing the shifting of the slag on the molten metal 31 surface are provided in the vicinity of the tip opening part 24. The inside parting plate 26 is hinged with a horizontal shaft 28 at the casting trough 10 side, and this lower end is hung so as to be free end, and the outside plate 27 is hinged at the lower end of a vertical cylinder 30 hung from a fixed part 19 so as to be vertically movable.
