Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lighten an operational force by pushing forward the top of a cam abutting against a plate holding bolt only when a shift and selection shaft is shifted to a reverse selection position and operating an advance step shift yoke by the top of the cam in the initial reverse shift to stop the main shaft rotation by an advance step synchronous mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: When a speed change operation section 8 is operated in a reverse selection position, a shift and selection shaft 86 is shifted integrally with cam guide 156 and cam 178 axially together with an interlock plate 88. Thus, the base end face of a cam base 188 abuts against a shaft part 112 of a plate holding bolt 110 to be pushed forward. Thus, the cam top 190 swinging about a swinging shaft center is shifted to positions of engaging first and second speed shift yoke 126. Under such condition, a clutch is turned off to operate the speed change operation section to a reverse shift position.
