PURPOSE: To prevent sticking of aquatic organisms by providing a grounded outside frame consisting of a conductive material and electrode part which is provided in the outside frame and consists of a high-voltage electrode in the flow of sea water, etc. and impressing high-voltage pulses to the high-voltage electrode.
CONSTITUTION: The grounded outside frame 1a consisting of the conductive material and the electrode part 1 which is provided in the outside frame 1a and consists of the high-voltage electrode 1b are disposed in the flow of the sea water or fresh water in a manner as not to hinder the flow. The high- voltage pulses are impressed by a power source part 2 to the high-voltage electrode 1b of the electrode part 1. As a result, the aquatic organisms entering the device by being entrained in the flow of the sea water or fresh water is selectively paralyzed and exterminated by the electric shock. There are no problems in environmental protection and the sticking of the aquatic organisms is prevented at the substantially practicable cost.
