Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable continuous operation by relaxing discharge force of dehydrated cake discharged by centrifugal force in the radial direction from the outer edge end of a conical bowl and also previously preventing sticking to the inside of a cake discharge cover.
CONSTITUTION: A cake discharge cover 20 is provided in a continuous centrifugal separator having a cone type basket 1. A clamping plate 23 having a conical shape is fixed to a liquid cutting plate 22 in the inside of the cake discharge cover 20. A sheet cover 26 made of an extensible and contractible member is provided along the outer circumference of this damping plate so as to cover the outer circumferential face of the cake discharge cover. One end of the sheet cover is fixed to the side plate 25 of this cake discharge cover. The rod of a cylinder provided in the cake discharge cover is retained to this side plate 25. The sheet cover is extended and contracted by the repeated action of the cylinder.
