To provide a device for preventing suspended-matter adhesion in a water-jet propeller, particularly a device for pushing the suspended matters that are aspirated into a suction casing and liable to adhere to a screen arranged over the suction port back by the pressure of water jets.

The water-jet propeller pressurizes the water such through a suction port 4 into a suction casing 3 by the use of an impeller 6 in a pump casing 5 and jets the pressurized water out back oh the quarter from a discharge casing 7 to thus propel a vessel. Around a screen 12 arranged over the suction port 4 of the suction casing 3, an injector 13 is arranged to jet pressurized water out, to which a supply pipe 16 branching away from the discharge casing 7 is connected to supply part of the pressurized water pressurized by the impeller 6 to the injector 13 such that it jets out the pressurized water toward suspended matters to keep them away from the screen 12.
