PURPOSE: To prevent the blocking of toner by fixing the 1st stirring member to a revolving shaft installed to a toner container and coupling the 2nd stirring member to the 1st stirring member.

CONSTITUTION: The 1st and 2nd stirring members 6 and 7 start to rotate in the direction shown by the arrow in a toner container 1 when a revolving shaft 4 starts the rotation. At this time, tension is given to the member 7 in the direction of the revolving shaft 4 by means of elastic bodies 8 and the member 7 tends to tilt toward the direction of rotation, but the member 7 does not tilt and remains in the vertical position since the back part of supporting arms 5 and 5' acts as a stopper and stops the member 7 at the vertical position. When the revolving shaft 4 rotates for an angle, the member 7 contacts with the wall of the container 1 and is bent to the opposite direction of the revolving direction around the member 6 against the elasticity of the elastic bodies 8, and then, revolves along the wall of the container 1 while contacting with the wall. When the revolving shaft 4 is rotated further and the member 7 is separated from the wall of the container, the member is returned to the original condition by the tension of the elastic bodies 8. The stirring members 6 and 7 revolve in the container by repeating such movement and prevent the blocking of toner.
