To provide a device for processing an edge of a plate stock, which processes corner parts of the side ends of plate stocks different in material kind or plate thickness into a curved face shape substantially free from ridgeline, and which suppresses generation of processing powder caused by a sliding phenomenon in processing.
A plurality of paired forming rollers 11-14 are formed into a conical shape, whose processing face has a curved face. The forming rollers are arranged in a way that the rotation axial lines of the rollers are parallel to the surface of a plate stock 1 and that the thickness direction of the plate stock is put between the lines, and the forming rollers form the plate stock 1 into the thickness direction. Further, the paired forming rollers 11-14 are arranged as a set on both sides of the carrying direction of the plate stock 1, respectively. The angles, at which the conical processing face of the forming rollers are pressed to the plate stock 1 to process the stock, are different for each of the paired forming rollers 11-14. The angles successively become larger as the processing advances, so that the corner parts of the side ends are processed into a curved face shape substantially free from ridgeline.
