Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently produce the snack food in a homogeneous state, the snack food being produced by mixing a melted fatty material with various food granules and subsequently molding the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: The production device is characterized by making up a feeding mechanism for feeding snack-producing materials on a mold plate from a feeder 3 for feeding food granules such as puffs, from a mixer 4 disposed in connection to the food granule feeder 3 and used for mixing a fatty material such as a chocolate dissolved in the food granules, and from an injector 5 or injecting the melted fatty material, and furthermore disposing a mechanism 7 equipped with a leveling mechanism 6 and used for sliding and filling the smack molding material fed from the feeding mechanism and a horizontally reciprocative scraper mechanism 8 for removing the excessive snack molding material loaded on the traveling mold plate. The production device can readily produce the fatty snack foods containing the various food granules without relating to the shapes of the food granules, performs the precise sliding works and gives the snack foods good in the appearance and uniform in the moldability and mixing ratio, thereby being useful for improving the qualities of the snack foads.
