Abstract:
To provide a device for producing a pleated element, which can industrially and continuously produce the new type desired pleated element in which the mountains of the pleats are formed in bag shapes.
This device for producing the pleated element having a prescribed width, characterized by having a fusing means for sequentially fusing both the lateral edge portions of each of the mountains of the pleats in the longitudinal direction of the element to form each mountain in the bag shape.
