Abstract:
To provide a compact protecting device that can prevent deposition of grime on an optical sensor such as a camera while preserving a large angle of view.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a device for protecting an optical sensor 13 for a motor vehicle, the optical sensor comprising an optic 14. According to the invention, the protecting device includes an optical element 9 that is configured to be placed upstream of the optic of the optical sensor and that has at least one surface 9a, 9b of aspheric general shape.
