Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily producible epoch-making device for protection against fowls and moles capable of manifesting excellent exterminating effects due to its ability to produce good vibration and a loud vibrating sound and extremely efficiently rotating a rotating impeller and extremely simple in structure.
SOLUTION: This device for averting fowls and moles comprises a rotating shaft 3 made of a metal on an installing transverse rod 2 provided in the upper part of a support 1, inserted into the ground and standing therefrom, a rotating impeller 4, rotatable by exposure to a wind and connected to the tip of the rotating shaft 3, in which a part of at least a prescribed length is formed into a square rodlike cross-sectional shape, a cylindrical unit 5, made of a metal, covering and fitting onto the square rodlike part 3A of the rotating shaft 3 so as to produce the rattling and vibration between the square rodlike part 3A of the rotating shaft 3 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical unit 5 made of the metal by rotating the rotating shaft 3 with the rotating impeller 4, transmit the vibration through the interior of the support 1 into the ground and further produce a metallic vibrating sound. Vertical tail planes 6 are installed at the base end of the installing transverse rod 2.
