Abstract:
To display the image based on the facing direction of the user on a portable terminal display.
The device for providing railway information comprises: an acceleration sensor (SN1) for detecting the acceleration of the riding car; a detection means (KC17) for detecting the facing direction of the display screen (11) to the running direction of the car; a memory means (KC18) for storing at least railway information regarding to the stations existing ahead of the riding car; and a display means (KC20) for displaying the railway guiding image based on the railway information which displays the railway guiding images (41) on the display screen (11) corresponding to the facing direction of the display screen (11).
