PURPOSE: To obtain the title low-cost device having reduced labor comprising an inclined plane of collecting and raising waves on the surface of the water, a crossing wave forming part having a gradually contracting side part, a pipeline of collecting and dropping the crossing waves, a crossing wave release pipe attached to the pipeline and a suspended tube for pumping up water in a deep layer.
CONSTITUTION: In a device of pumping up water in a deep layer by raising water rich in nutritive sources in a deep layer to an upper zone approximately to the surface of the water to form a new fishing place and to contribute to environmental conservation of the ocean, the device consists of an inclined plane 1 of collecting and raising waves on the surface of the water, a crossing wave forming part 3 having a gradually contracting side part 2, a pipeline 4 of collecting and dropping the waves crossing the top of the inclined plane 1, a crossing wave release pipe 5 attached to the pipeline 4 and a suspended tube 6 pumping up water in the deep layer by release of the crossing waves from the release pipe 5, a narrow gap part 7 is formed at a connecting part between the release pipe 5 and the suspended tube 6 and water in the deep layer is efficiently pumped up by suction of water in the deep layer by pressure reduction at the gap part.
