In front of a case covering this transversely raising chain, a longitudinally raising chain is arranged obliquely from the front lower side to the rear upper side, wound around an upper and a lower sprockets 25 mounted to a shaft extending in the transverse right and left direction and has raising lugs at a prescribed interval. A case for covering the longitudinally raising chain is fixed to the case for covering the transversely raising chain, while right and left plates 30a, 30b for covering the rotation track on the lower side of the longitudinally raising lugs from both right and left sides are set to the lowermost side of the case for covering the longitudinally raising chain. The front parts of these right and left plates are bent toward the center to form a wedges thereby constituting a grass separator 29 which is opened at its lower face.
