Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the measurement of a spatial profile of a beam at a position where a high energy laser or the like having been difficult of measurement and evaluation in a conventional device is collected with a simple configuration.
SOLUTION: An incident light image 1 such as an incident light beam or optical image is projected to a slope of an optical prism 3 placed after a projection lens 2 by using the optical system such as the lens 2. In this case, a glass rod 5 made of the same type of material as that of the prism 3 and whose tip is sharpened is arranged in the vicinity of the prism face for projection. A 2-dimension scanner 6 is used to allow the glass rod 5 to be scanned onto the image face of the optical prism in two-dimension. Furthermore, the 2-dimension scanner 6 and a photodetector 4 are connected to a control/display device 7.
