Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem due to the fact that a reproduced program scene to be displayed on the screen is easily confused with a program scene in the middle of broadcasting when time shift reproduction or cache reproduction is performed in a PVR.
SOLUTION: A video recording position mark (a) corresponding to the current time and a reproduction position mark (b) corresponding to the recording time of a program that is reproduced are displayed on bar (c) on which time is defined as a scale when a cache is reproduced. Because the color of the bar is subjected to reversing display as (d) for the period of a program signal, when the cache exists, what time a program can be reproduced from the cache can be confirmed at a glance.
