PURPOSE: To smoothly execute the removal of burning and to enable the good reuse of recovered material by providing a clamp mechanism for fixing a recovering material and a cut-off mechanism for cutting off runner parts by applying pressure to the recovering material fixed with this clamp mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: In this material recovering device in a precision casting equipment, a forming material having the same shape as a product is formed and these materials are assembled in tree--state and also, coating is applied and successively, the forming materials are replaced into material to manufacture the products and then, the runner parts as the passage of molten metal poured from a sprue part are recovered. Then, in this device, the clamp mechanism 7 for fixing the recovering material and the cut-off mechanism 8 for cutting off the runner parts by applying the pressure to the fixed recovering material are provided. In the condition of holding the sprue part of the recovering material in between a fixed die 70 and a movable die 71 by a holding cylinder 72, a cut-off tool 80 is pushed by a cut-off cylinder 81 in the cut-off mechanism 8 to cut off some pieces of runner parts. By this method, the removal of the stuck burning can smoothly be executed.
