PURPOSE: Title device for recovering oil in which the contaminants and insoluble solids are rapidly removed and oil with reduced content of foreign substances can be recovered with high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: Oil sludge in tanks or oil tankers is charged in receiver 1 and heated, then sent by pump 2 through pipe 3, perforated plate 4 to jet-scrubber mixing chamber 5 and poured into it from the side of the top. At the same time, a part of recovered and heated oil is jetted out of pipe 7 with many bored holes on the round periphery using pump 8 and mixed with the oil sludge and sent from the throat 6 of the chamber 5 into sludge separator 9 where sludge is separated and excluded out of outlet 12 with scraper 11. The separated oil is introduced into tank 15 equipped with heater 16, of which a part is recycled to mixing chamber 5 by pump 8 and the rest is recovered by pump 14.
