Title:
DEVICE FOR REDUCING GENERATING SMOKE AMOUNT DURING RAPID ACCELERATION OF DIESEL ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03182653
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce an amount of generating smoke even when rapid acceleration is effected by a method wherein an engaging part on the fuel injection pump containing chamber side with which the one end part of a start spring is engaged is formed with a temperature sensitive operating tool displaced to the fuel reduction side during high temperature operation.

CONSTITUTION: A spring engaging part 21 to which the one end of a start spring 19 is locked on a pump containing chamber wall 18 is formed of, for example, a bimetal. The engaging part 21 is brought into a state extending along the pump containing chamber wall 18 while temperature is low, and it is displaced to the fuel reduction side as temperature is increased. When temperature is increased along with running of an engine, the engaging part 21 on the pump containing chamber side of the start spring 19 is displaced to the fuel reduction side and a start spring force exerted on a fork lever 10 is decreased. Even when, with this state, a shift lever 17 is caused to effect rapid acceleration operation, the fork lever 10 is moved by means of a pressure storage force of a torque spring device 13, an overrun amount is decreased, and an amount of generating smoke is suppressed to a value as low as possible.
