To provide a device for refining metal in which a hollow rotary axis can securely and smoothly be rotated, and also, high temperature cooling fluid to be exhausted can securely and effectively be cooled with a compact constitution.
A cooling fluid exhaust tube 37 arranged at the inside of a hollow rotary axis 34 is fixed to the upper part of the hollow rotary axis 34, and the hollow rotary axis 34 and the cooling liquid exhaust tube 37 are allowed to rotate integrally. A cooling liquid introducing parts 41 sealed by oil seals 36, 36, 36 is provided around the outer circumferential faces on the upper part of the hollow rotary axis 34, and a cooling liquid exhaust part 42 communicated with the opening of the upper end of the cooling liquid exhaust tube 37 is provided. The cooling liquid exhaust part 42 and the engaging parts 33 of the oil seals 36 are covered with a water cooing mechanism 43.
