Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform synchronization with external signals and to perform expression together key performing reproduction by clocks provided with fixed relation with the clocks generated from digital signals from the outside. CONSTITUTION: The video signals of V-MPEG are stored in an image memory 1, compression-canceled and then, written to a FIFO memory 2 by crystal clocks Tv . Then, by the output clock signals of a discrete time oscillator 3 controlled by the sampling clocks of external video signals Vext , data are read from the FIFO memory and added to external input Vext in an adder stage and image data Vdec are obtained. In the case of audio signals as well, A-MPEG signals and Aext are synchronized and outputted as Adec similarly. Thus, the synchronization with the data supplied from the outside is performed and the reproduction is performed together.
