To provide a device for relaying information capable of appropriately keeping the number of residual seconds included in signal information and elapsed time after sensing included in sensor information while transmitting such information to an on-vehicle apparatus via an optical beacon when the sizes of signal information and of sensor information are large, when the number of optical beacons of a destination is large, or when a communication load between the device for relaying information and the optical beacon is high.
An operation unit 1101 of an application processing unit 11 transmits signal information S3, signal information S2, and signal information S1 to a road communication device 4 installed on a road L3, a road L2, and a road L1, respectively while delaying (elapsing) by predetermined time (100 msec, for example). Then, the present signal lamp color and the number of the residual seconds thereof included in the signal information S3, the signal information S2, and the signal information S1 are updated by subtracting the predetermined time.
