Abstract:

To provide a means for transmitting a remotely measured electric signal to a measuring instrument without distortion.

An optoelectronic system 100, 200, 300 includes an optical signal modulator 105, 205, 305, an optical input guide 104 and an optical output guide 104 connected to the optical signal modulator. The system further includes a reflective optical element 403 in the optical signal modulator, the element is disposed to reflect an input light beam 12 incident through the optical input guide 104 into an output light beam 14 through the optical output guide 104. The system further includes electrical terminals 106 in the optical signal modulator. The electrical terminals are configured such that an electrical signal on the electrical terminals is operable to interact with the input light beam 12.
