Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for removably-attaching insulating and sound- damping mats mounted on the floor of a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: This device is a device for removably-attaching insulating and sound-damping mats using a nut 1 engaged with a stud 8 mounted on a vehicle body. The nut 1 includes a flange 4 coming into contact with the mat 7 and flexible internal projections 9. The protrusions 9 can be pushed over the stud 8, and when pushed over, engages with a screw of the stud 8, so that the nut 1 can be prevented from being unscrewed from the stud 8.
