To provide a wet type (solution-using) removal (deNOx) device of nitrogen oxide (NOx) having a compact configuration.
A solution and NOx gas are mixed by a mixer 54 of a shearing type microbubble generator to perform deNOx reaction. The mixer 54 is formed in a cylindrical shape and includes a guide vane chamber 541 provided on the axial upstream side, a cutter chamber 542 provided on the downstream side, and an ejector pipe 543 for injecting NOx gas to the cutter chamber 542. When the solution is injected from a former pump, spiral rotation is given thereto by cutters 5411, 5412 of the guide vane chamber 541, and the solution is crushed into ultrafine pieces together with the injected NOx gas by a mashroom-like collision body 5421 of the cutter chamber 542 to form microbubbles. Consequently, the retention time of NOx gas in the solution is extended and the contact area thereof is increased, whereby the reaction efficiency is enhanced to attain high deNOx function in a compact manner.
