Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove mal-inserted weft yarns stretching in a row from the top of a weft yarn filling nozzle from a warp yarn series after generating mat- insertion of weft yarns.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed drum 20 is fixedly arranged at a given position in close vicinity to mal-inserted weft yarns at the top side of a weft yarn filling nozzle 2. A winding arm 28 (a nail part 30) spins around the surrounding of the fixed drum 20 and, after engages with mal-inserted weft yarns, guides the mal-inserted weft yarns to wind them on the fixed drum 20 (on a pin 23 of a surrounding groove 21 and this pulls out the mal-inserted weft yarns from a warp yarn series. Mal-inserted weft yarns wound up on the fixed drum 20 are cut by a cutter and, then, sucked and removed by a suction pipe 53.
